IDEA – ABD SPORBURSU ÖĞRENCİ KAMPI PROGRAMI

Almanya ‘daki College Contact firması üzeri IDEA – ABD SPORBURSU ÖĞRENCİ KAMPI PROGRAMI na katilabilirsiniz. IDEA (International Doorway to Education & Athletics) tarafından, 14-31 Temmuz tarihlerı arasında ABD de her yıl ABD SPORBURSU ÖĞRENCİ KAMPI PROGRAMI düzenlenir ve  1998 yılından bu yana Lise ve yüksek okul ( 16– 26 yaş arasında) öğrencilerine SPOR ÖĞRENCİ KAMPI organize edilir.

Bu program ile yabancı öğrencilerin de A.B.D. 'de yüksek öğrenime spor burslu katılmaları sağlanmaktadır. Bu program için katılımcı sporcuların ingilizce bilgilerinin iyi düzeyde olması gerekmemektedir. Burs kazandıkları takdirde varsa aynı yüksek okulun dil kursu da bursa dahil olabiliyor.

"Uluslararası öğrenci atletik kampı" adı verilen bu program sayesinde farklı spor branşlarından olan öğrenci sporculara A.B.D. 'deki kolej ve üniversitelerce eğitim bursu verilmektedir.

15 günlük kamp süresince, öğrenci-sporcular burs almak için antrenman ve maçlarda bütün hünerlerini göstermeye çalışırlar. IDEA tarafından 1998' den bu yana A.B.D.’de her yaz düzenlenen bu program ile şu ana kadar 1500 yetenekli sporcu katılımcı kolej ve üniversitelerde eğitim görmektedirler. Öğrenci-sporcular antrenman ve maçlarda bütün hünerlerini göstererek 15 günlük kamp süresince, geleceklerini garanti altına alacak eğitimleri için burs ararlar. Bu program sayesinde üniversitenin koçları büyük bir yabancı öğrenci topluluğuna A.B.D. 'de ekstra harcama yapmadan ulaşmış olurlar.

Yoğun programının yani sıra program kültürel geziler, üniversite kampus ziyaretleri, üniversite tanıtımları, müzik gösterileri, profesyonel spor maçları izleme gibi çeşitli kültürel, sosyal ve eğitim etkinlikleri de içerir. Bu çok kapsamlı kampta öğrenciler A.B.D 'yi yakından tanıma fırsatını bulurlar. Üniversitelerin koçları antrenman ve yerel takımlarla yapılan maçlarda sürekli katılımcıları izleyecekler. Koçlar spor programlarına katılan oyunculara tam yada kısmi burslar teklif edeceklerdir.

Başvuranlardan istenilen özelliklere sahip öğrenci-sporcular A.B.D. deki Uluslar arası Atletik Kampına katılma şansına sahip olacaktır. Katılımcılar pres-trop training programına tabi tutulacaklar. Böylece fiziksel ve teknik olarak finallere hazırlanacaklardır. IDEA koçları ve doktorları tüm programı kontrol edecek, düzenleyecek ve A.B.D. de eşlik edeceklerdir.

College Contact firması, IDEA Uluslararası Atletik Kampına katılacak öğrenci-sporcuların Türkiye ’den yapılan başvurularını kabul eden yetkili kurumdur. Programın şimdiye kadar yüzde yüz basarı sağlamasına rağmen, kesinlikle burs garantisi yoktur. Bu tercih ve seçim tamamen üniversitelere bağlıdır. IDEA katılımcılara A.B.D de seçilene kadar bursu garanti etmez.

IDEA bir sene A.B.D de seçilmeyen katılımcının gelecek elemelere ücretsiz katılmasını sağlar. Bu olanak 30 Mayıs tarihine kadar yapılmış başvurular için geçerli olacaktır.

Finaller A.B.D.de bulunan farklı üniversitelerin koçları ile ortak çalışmalar yapılarak düzenlenmiştir. IDEA danışmanları, uzmanları, doktorları ve psikologları düzenli olarak katılımcıları Kamp süresince gözetirler. Yoğun programının yani sıra program kültürel geziler, üniversite kampus ziyaretleri, üniversite tanıtımları, müzik gösterileri, profesyonel spor maçları izleme gibi çeşitli kültürel, sosyal ve eğitim etkinlikleri de içerir.

  Başvuru koşulları : Kolej ya da üniversiteler tarafından seçilen öğrenciler bir kere seçildikten sonra, tercih edilen üniversite lisans programına başlayabiliyorlar. İngilizce öğrenmesi gereken ye da geliştirmesi gereken katılımcılar üniversiteye başlamadan önce hazırlık okurlar. İngilizce hazırlık burs kapsamında olabiliyor.

Program daha önce profesyonel sözleşme imzalamamış ve üniversiteye başlamak isteyen öğrenci sporcuları bir araya getirmektedir.

Lise öğrencileri, lise mezunları veya üniversite öğrencileri katılabilirler.

Ücret: Öğrenci başına $ 2600 + Uçak bileti

Katılımcıların İngilizce bilgilerinin iyi düzeyde olması şart değildir.

Program için son başvuru tarihi olan 30 Mayıs 'tan sonra yapılacak başvurular kabul edilmeyecektir.

Kamp tarihleri  : Temmuz ortası – 30 Temmuz tarihleri arasındadır.

Not: 3000 $ tutarındaki ücret daha sonra yatırılır. Kampa katılan her öğrenci seçilemediği durumda bir sene sonraki diğer kampa ücretsiz katılma hakkına sahiptir. Başvuru sahibi önemli bir sebepten kampa katılamayacağını beyan ederse depozito hariç diğer yatırdığı ücretler iade edilir.

ABD 'de 2 haftalik SPORCU KAMPI

16 – 24 yaş arasındaki SPORCU KAMPI- IDEA PROGRAMI

Program şimdiye çok başarılı olmuş olsa da IDEA üniversitelerin bütçelerini denetlemez. Buna göre IDEA öğrenci A.B.D’ de seçilene kadar bursunuzu garanti etmez. Öğrencinin herhangi bir üniversite tarafından seçilmemeniz durumunda, IDEA öğrencinin gelecek seçmelere ücretsiz katılmasını sağlar. Bu seçenek sadece 1 Mayıs tarihine kadar kayıt yaptıranlar için geçerlidir. IDEA katılımcıların hedeflerine ulaşmaları için her türlü desteği verir.

IDEA programı her yıl 14-31 Temmuz tarihleri arasında üniversite kampüslerinde düzenlenir. Kampın yapılacağı üniversiteler her sene yeniden belirlenir. Bu sene en kısa zamanda belirlenecek ve duyurulacaktır.

Program 31 Temmuz da biter, öğrenci üniversite tarafından kabul edilmesinden itibaren okulun ilk başlayan döneminde başlayabilir. Bu dönem genelde 2003 yada 2005 yılları arasında Ağustos sonu, Ocak dönemleridir.

55 ve 85 arasında üniversite spor ve kayıt kabul bölümleri ile temsil edilirler. Bu üniversiteler her sene ihtiyaçlarına ve hedeflerine göre değişebilirler. Katılımcı üniversitelerin sayısına göre tüm kolejler arası ligler programa dahildir. Örneğin; NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA.

16 – 24 yaş arasında olmak,

Ve aşağıdaki koşullardan biri yerine getirmek gerekir.

Evet. Ancak buna üniversite yetkili kurumları karar verir.

Üniversiteler iki türlü burs verirler. Bunlar üniversitede eğitiminizdeki başarınıza ya da sportif performansa göredir. Sizin alacağınız burs türü atletik performansınız içindir bunun yani sıra akademik performansınız da etkili olacaktır. Bu elemelerden sonra bursunuzun kapsamı artabilir de azalabilir de.

Programa katılan üniversitelerin ücretleri yıllık 18,000 $ ile 30,000 $ (eğitim, konaklama, yemek dahil) arasındadır. Şimdiye kadar programa katılan öğrencilerin %15’i tam burs sahibi (eğitim, konaklama, yemek dahil) olmuştur; %30’u azami yıllık 7,000$ (eğitim, konaklama, yemekler dahil) ödemişlerdir. Geriye kalanlar yıllık 3,000 $ ile 7,000 $ arasında ücret (eğitim, konaklama, yemek dahil) ödemişlerdir.

İngilizce bilgisi başvuru koşulları arasında değildir. İngilizce öğrenmesi gereken ye da geliştirmesi gereken katılımcılar üniversiteye başlamadan önce hazırlık okurlar. İngilizce hazırlık burs kapsamındadır.  Burs kazandıkları takdirde varsa aynı yüksek okulun dil kursu da bursa dahil olabiliyor. Veya bazen istisnai durumlarda sporcular kendi ingilizce öğrenim masraflarını kendileri üstleniyorlar.

Bu programa katılmak için ne tür vize almalıyım?

Program sonunda burs kazananlar okula kayıt yaparak A.B.D yasalarına göre öğrenci vizesi alırlar. Kabul edilen üniversiteden alınacak I. 20 formu ile İstanbul ya da Ankara elçiliklerinden öğrenci vizesi için müracaat edebilirler.

IDEA bu programa katılanların A.B.D’ nin şartlarına uymasını ister. INS kurallarına göre bu programa katılacakların A.B.D elçiliklerinden ziyaretçi vizesi alması gerekmektedir.

A.B.D ’de çalışabilir miyim?

IDEA öğrenci-sporcuların Amerikan üniversitelerinde burslu eğitim görmesini sağlayan bir organizasyondur. Yasal olarak yabancı bir öğrenci dışarıda çalışamaz, ancak kampüs içinde ufak tefek işlerde çalışabilir.
